We offer full day care for babies aged 2 months till 18 months.
We are open from 06h45 till 18h00
We are closed over weekends and all public holidays.
We are open during school holidays except over the December period. |
We understand that babies learn through play and for this reason we have a program which guides their play to nurture curiosity, creativity, exploration and interaction with the world around them.
We provide age appropriate toys and activities which enhance sensory motor learning through stimulation of their senses.
Educational toys and materials are provided which stimulate mastery of cognitive and communicative skills at the child’s own pace.
Through introducing various exercises that develops and strengthen muscles, we encourage the development of motor milestones. |
In a small group environment babies learn to relate to others as they develop social skills, respect for others and a sense of self. Each baby will receive maximum special and individual attention. We make use of themes to introduce babies to the world around them. Themes will be taught by making use of stories, music and art.
At Little Haven we believe that babies have to be facilitated in the outside play area. They love lying under a tree and looking at the leaves dance in the breeze. For the active babies we have a sandpit, play house and various outdoor toys. On warm summers days we splash in the water and run after bubbles. Planned outdoor activities encourage children to learn how to interpret what they hear, see, feel and smell and in turn build their self-confidence |
We provide each child with their own cot, mobile and cubbyhole which the parents can decorate with things from home to make baby more comfortable during the early days.
The play, sleep and changing areas are all separate. |
