The LaLa Land Building Blocks

Building Blocks At LaLa Land we love children and we love what we do!

We also understand that children have different needs, strengths and developmental requirements in the early childhood years.

Our primary commitment is to develop happy children in a loving, secure and fun environment.

Our three block logo represents our approach to early childhood education:

• The child;

• The learning environment; and

• The parent.

The child

We know that every child is different and special in his/her own way.

We also understand that each child is an individual and we emphasise the value of respect for the individual, our children, our health our family and our environment.

We recognise, maintain and stimulate the individuality of each child to ensure that it is developed in a “structured but fun” learning environment.

Our learning environment

To develop and retain our children’s individuality we utilise specifically tailored learning programmes that take account of each child’s unique skills and learning style. Our curriculum is focused to stimulate learning in a “spirit of fun” whilst developing numeracy, literacy and social skills.

We are not prepared to compromise on the quality of the education offered to our children. Only appropriately qualified staff will teach our children and our support staff shares our love and commitment to create a safe and dynamic environment for our children to enjoy.

Child development is our main priority. Our classes are appropriately fitted for the children’s age group and we pride ourselves on making certain that our facility is constantly upgraded ensuring a safe and secure environment for our children.

Our parents

As our parents play the primary role in the development of our children we believe in effective and constant communication between staff and parents.

As the interest of your children is paramount, it is our duty to provide you with regular feedback on the progress, developmental needs and emotional well being of your child.

We appreciate that parents know their children best and see our parents as our partners in the educational development of our children.

Where necessary, we will provide a framework to assist and assess a child’s developmental needs though our network of educational and occupational therapists.

Let’s start building!
