KIDZ TAKE OVER Drama Courses are for kids and teens eager to be on stage. The courses teaches theatrical acting skills focusing on expression, improvisation and characterisation. The students have so much fun in class they don't even realise they are learning and gaining life skills such as confidence, communication and motivation. At the end of the course each student gets a role in the KTO Production at the theatre, providing a real-life experience. Students also receive a certificate of participation which looks great on their CV when auditioning for casting agents.
Although the Arts is often seen to be only for "Creative People" it is in fact an essential part of education.
Our Theatre courses focus on but are not limited to the following:
Junior Kids - communication, expression and vocal projection
Senior Kids - characterisation, expression and improvisation
Teens - voice skills, stage techniques, character impersonation and adaptations.

Dr Jean Houston of the Federation for Mind Research says that, "Children without access to an arts programme are actually damaging their brain. They are not being exposed to verbal modalities which help them learn skills like reading, writing and maths much more easily."

Newsflash: Come and watch our Kidz Take Over stars in 'Cherry on The Top'. It is journey through time as we visit The Wizard of Oz and then we take the Audience to Neverland with Peter Pan. Watch as Cinderella finds her prince and Sleeping beauty is woken with a kiss. Sure to be an entertaining afternoon for the whole family.
